Mad About Dance Community Outreach & Upliftment Project (M.A.D C.O.U.P) - a Non Profit (Community based) Organisation was founded and established by
UneeQ in July 2008. She quit her well paying job to teach kids in underprivileged and disadvantaged communities essential Life Skills through dance.
Deeply devoted and highly energetic UneeQ, decided to Make A Difference (MAD) in all communities since most kids have talents, but no-one to help them showcase it.
At a young age UneeQ attended ballet and ballroom classes, but because her parents could not afford to support her passion financially, she had no option but to quit. She later entered "Putting on the hits" competitions and always came out tops! Only realising that dance was really her passion at a late stage, she left behind the work arena with titles ranging from Warehousing / Logistics / Inventory Management, Assistant Cost Accountant, Branch Manageress, Projects Co-Ordinator, System Consultant, to name a few to pursue her dream and passion, DANCE!

Dubbed as the “Mastermind behind the Hip Hop / Kwaito Remix Dance Routine” – Organisers / Spectators @ Mr & Ms SA Bollywood Fashion Icon show (Apr 2009)
It is all about improving the life chances of the young in our community. The focus is on keeping them off the streets away from Drugs and Alcohol and related dillemas such as Teen Pregnancies, HIV/Aids, Human Trafficking and Women and Child Abuse.
While the project focusses on kids aged 5 to 21, the broader aim is to help break down destructive tendencies and unhealthy lifestyles in communities.
Kids Against Drug and Alcohol Abuse (K.A.D.A.A) is one of the projects associated with (M.A.D C.O.U.P). Our mission is to recruit Volunteer Dance Instructors / Choreographers and the like to assist in recruiting all schools reaching, Location to Location, Province to Province and Country to Country.
FREESTYLE SOCCER
Freestyle Soccer is a new performance art based on stylistic expression through the use of football skills. Exciting freestylers do complex sequences (combos) of juggling tricks, stalls, balancing acts and dribbling (ground) moves.
FLASHMOBS
A relatively new phenomenon, a flash mob is a spontaneous gathering of people who assemble in a predetermined location, perform an action, and then quickly disperse. Participants network through email, bulletin boards, and websites, and generally assemble silently and without comment before vanishing equally mysteriously. The first recorded flash mob appears to have occurred in Manhattan in June, 2003, when a large crowd of flash mobbers consulted staff at Macy's about purchasing a “love rug” for a suburban commune. Since then, flash mobs of varying sizes have appeared in cities all over the world.
We specialise in the following: -
Freeze Flashmobs – Time stands still…where a group of people stop moving simultaneously
Dance Flashmobs – Feel the music…where one person starts a dance sensation, followed by “unsuspecting” mobbers
Soccer Freestyling Flashmobs – the love of soccer…where one person starts a juggling sensation, followed by “unsuspecting” mobbers
Ideal for Marketing / Advertising and Branding
